Josh Moore

In Season 3's mid-season finale I'm joined by one of my closest friends, Josh Moore. Josh is the dynamic force behind the food media brand Josh Eats Philly, where he highlights the food, restaurants, and events of the Philadelphia area. With a background as a content creator, photographer, and videographer, Josh has collaborated with some of the largest national brands in the food and beverage industry. Additionally, he has leveraged his platform to promote small businesses, women-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses, striving to make a positive impact in his community. Currently, Josh holds the title of Philadelphia Magazine’s Food Influencer of the Year.

In this episode, Josh discusses how he got his start in food media, particularly in social media. We explore the evolution and changes he’s seen in both social media and the Philly food scene, creating intentional spaces for Black content creators, and delve into the strategies he developed to scale his Instagram account to over 100,000 followers.
